Moving into the world of metal and away from biological life forms, they created biomaterials from which they grew their biological avatars. They could then upload their consciousness into these "bodies" and interact with the world of Earth, turning it into a vast gaming platform. The technological path opened up new horizons and civilisation was transformed, merging with technology in an amazing symbiosis.
