I was in Lake Garda, Italy with Nataly. We were visiting Lake Garda on a lovely sunny day. later a dark, heavy storm and clouds dominated the sky, layered and swirling, with a dramatic break where the low sun burns through in warm tones of peach, gold, and soft pink. That contrat brooding gray blue clouds against glowing sunset light gives the scene a real sense of tension, like calm and chaos sharing the same breath. The ground elevates the image with a shallow puddle acting like a mirror, perfectly reflecting the sky, boats and the sunset glow. The reflection doubles the drama, making the lake feel endless and dreamlike, as if the sky continues beneath your feet. The power of mother nature that changed the moment just before the storm broke out. Lake Garda looks both serene and untamed.
